Crozet is a good observation area for bird species in the forest like Cocoș de munte, Cocoș de mesteacăn, Ieruncă, forest birds like woodpeckers and Forfecuță, and many passerine species like Pitulice sfârâitoare, Pitulice fluierătoare, Silvie cu cap negru, Aușel cu cap galben, Ochiuboului. In the more open areas you can find raptors like Șoim călător, Ciuvică, Șorecar comun, Uliu păsărar, Uliu porumbar, Acvilă de munte and also Sfrâncioc roșiatic.

Access
Park at the Crozet gondola. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. You can take the gondola up, but you can also start your walk from the parking. There are various paths to choose from. The circular route you see on the map is about 12 km long.
