Kaidanpään Lintutorni is a bird observation tower that offers a great vantage point for observing various bird species. You can see waterfowl, herons, and have a good chance to hear Buhai de baltă and Cârstel de baltă. Codalb can be seen hunting all year round. Other birds you can observe in the area include Lebădă de iarnă, Rață lingurar, Rață fluierătoare, Rață mică, Rață moțată, Ferestraș mic, Ferestraș mare, Corcodel mare, Cocor, Bătăuș, Becațină comună, Fluierar de mlaștină, Fluierar cu picioare roșii, Pescăriță mare, Chiră de baltă, Uligan pescar, Erete de stuf, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Șoimul rândunelelor, Pițigoi de brădet, Pițigoi moțat, Pițigoi de stuf, Lăcar mic, Lăcar de stuf, Fâsă de pădure and Presură galbenă.
Kaidanpään Lintutorni is located in Masku, which is about 25 kilometers northwest of the city of Turku. You can reach the area by local bus but then you still have to walk some kilometers. So best to go there is with car or by bicycle. There is small parking place where the path to birding tower starts. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you have to walk about 1 km to the observation tower.
