Description
Ilveskorvenpuisto is a nice and accessible place for casual urban birding. The pond attracts a variety of duck species in summer and it's possible to see their young there too. You can see Rață mare, Rață mică and Ferestraș mare. As the summer progresses, some birds make nests on the small island in the middle of the pond. Pescăruș sur and Pescăruș râzător are common but sometimes it's possible to see Pescăruș negru too. Găinușă de baltă has been seen at the pond in spring time too and the surrounding bushes provide hiding places for Măcăleandru.
