Description
The Bruksviken area is an important water bird area where many waterfowl nest during the summer. Migrating birds also like to rest here which offers a chance to spot a wide variety of birds in the area. Gâscă canadiană, Gâscă călugăriță, Gâscă de vară, Lebădă de vară, Lebădă de iarnă, Rață mică and Stârc cenușiu can be seen during migration season and sometimes waders like Sitar de mal nordic, Culic mare and Fluierar negru stop by too. Egretă mare and Notatiță have been sighted here a few times as well. During summer months there are cows grazing among the reeds as part of a program to keep the bay area open for birdlife.
