Description
Tissø is the 4th largest freshwater lake in Denmark. It is easy to acces and overlook. Tissø is home to a rich and varied birdlife and Codalb breeds here and it is easy to see. Also Uligan pescar can be seen. On the lake itself Corcodel mare, Ferestraș mare, various dabbling and diving ducks, geese and Lișiță are usual residents. The beach meadows and reed beds house many foraging and breeding birds like Ciocîntors, Chiră mică, Presură de stuf, Erete de stuf in addition to Buhai de baltă, Pițigoi de stuf and Grelușel pătat.

Access
Almost all of the lakeside is on private hands, but there is a publicly accessible birdwatching tower near Fugledegård. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. From there it's a 500 meter walk to the observation tower.
