Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Rață mandarin is common. Also common are Rață moțată, Corcodel mic, Lebădă de vară, Rață mare, Pescăruș râzător, Pescăraș albastru, Codroș de munte and Ghionoaie verde. In winter Pescăruș pontic and Cormoran mare are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Rață pestriță. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Rață lingurar, Rață fluierătoare, Rață sunătoare, Ferestraș mare or Rață cu ciuf can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
