Description

The Retencija Blato ticklist is 216 species (see link below). There is an island/peninsula which is a popular bird roost Species seen include Mugurar roșu, Cănăraș, Ciocârlie de pădure, Vrabie de câmp, Rață cu cap negru, Ciocîntors, Capîntortură, Prigorie, Stârc roșu, Rață roșie, Erete alb and Erete de stuf. Note: As of 2022 the website says 'temporarily closed'. Unclear if this applies only to fishing, or all visitors.
