Description

The agricultural fields west of the town of Vrana are a great area for viewing raptors, finding Potârniche de stâncă, Dumbrăveancă, Sfrâncioc cu cap roșu, Sfrâncioc roșiatic and many more. In the period from May to September, check the poplars and willows for Dumbrăveancă. Vânturel mic are found frequently hunting in the area. Șoimul rândunelelor also hunts in the area. Vânturel de seară can be seen in great numbers during migration.

Access

The agricultural fields are located north of Lake Vransko and northwest of the town of Vrana. You can get there by car and park along the road. The route is very walkable. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 10 km.
