Description

The Medvednica is a mountain massif in Northern Croatia, with its highest point at 1030 meters. Most of Medvednica belongs to the Medvednica Nature Park. This park is 228.26 km2 and consists of 63% forest. The Medvednica hosts many mountain and forest birds species, such as breeding Muscar mic and Ghionoaie sură.

The Medvednica is located 20 km north of Zagreb. Access from the main road Zagreb-Medvednica Sljemenska cesta. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 6 km.
