Stony slopes of Krumovitsa River valley with cliffs, scattered bushes and trees, sandy river-bed and agriculture fields, supporting number of southern species.
Very good mosaic of different habitats, providing suitable conditions for big variety of birds of different groups. Traditional and nature friendly agriculture practices allowed presence of birds as Dumbrăveancă, Pupăză, Sfrâncioc cu frunte neagră, Cucuvea and other. The cliffs on the slopes provide nesting sites to the Țiclean de stâncă, Barză neagră, Corb and other. On the stony and bushy slopes Potârniche de stâncă asiatică, Pietrar mediteranean, Frunzăriță balcanică, Silvie roșcată estică, Silvie mediteraneană and Silvie estică de grădini can be seen. Uliu cu picioare scurte keeps to the tree belts along the river, where Șoimul rândunelelor can be observed, too. Barză albă nests in the little hamlets in the area are nesting sites of the Vrabie negricioasă.
Drive North from the village of Gorna Kula on the road 50909 and along the Krumovitsa River and explore the different parts of the valley till the village of Dolna Kula, where are the cliffs with most of the birds to be seen.
