Description
Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Rață mare. Some other duck species can be seen like Rață pestriță, Rață sulițar and Rață mică. In the trees there are common birds like Pițigoi mare, Pițigoi albastru and Ciocănitoare pestriță mare. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Silvie cu cap negru, Cinteză and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Pescărel negru and Ferestraș mare who nest nearby. Also other species like Barză albă, Stârc cenușiu and Șorecar comun.
