During winter and spring the wetland and meadows of Reymere en Paardenweide are good feeding and resting grounds for geese and ducks including Gâscă călugăriță, Rață sulițar, Rață cârâitoare, Călifar alb, Rață fluierătoare and Rață mică. Also many other birds. For example Pescăraș albastru, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Nagâț and Prundăraș gulerat mic.

You can park your car at the carpark of the GC Groendal in Merelbeke (Brandegemse Ham 5) or see the P on the map. There is also direct bus accces to GC Groenendal from the trainstation of Ghent or Merelbeke.
