Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like Ciocănitoare neagră and Ciocănitoare pestriță mică breed here as well as Uliu porumbar and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, Muscar negru and Aușel cu cap galben, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an Sitar de pădure hiding beneath the bushes or gulls, Ciocârlie de pădure and Mărăcinar negru on the surrounding fields.
