The reservoir of Eeckhoven has a spacious bird hide that offers the opportunity to observe quietly. Corcodel mic, Corcodel mare, Rață moțată, Rață mică, Rață cu cap castaniu, Lișiță, Cormoran mare often swim right in front of the bird hide. Stârc cenușiu, Pescăruș argintiu, Egretă mare and other gulls are further away, so a telescope is useful. Sometimes you can spot a rare visitor like Pescăruș sur mare.

Nederlands: Het waterspaarbekken van Eeckhoven is een ideale biotoop voor tal van watervogels. Tijdens de vogeltrek is het ook een rustplaats. Eeckhoven grenst aan de Nete. De ruime vogelkijkhut biedt de kans om rustig te observeren. Corcodel mic, Corcodel mare, Rață moțată, Rață mică, Rață cu cap castaniu, Lișiță, Cormoran mare zwemmen vaak vlak voor de vogelkijkhut. The path to the bird hide runs through meadows where birds often forage. On one of the trees there is a nest box for Vânturel roșu where you can often observe it in the nest box. Șorecar comun also often passes by here.
