The Bufferbekkens (water storage basins) in the Pieter Verhaeghestraat in Kuurne are located in an agricultural area. The basins attract birds and on the basins and in the surroundings some nice birds can be seen. Among the birds you can see here are Egretă mare, Gușă vânătă, Stârc cenușiu, Silvie cu cap negru, Nagâț, Prundăraș gulerat mic, Lăcar de stuf, Lăcar mic and Scoicar.
