Description

The Königsdorfer Schotterteiche consist of a big pond and some smaller ponds. The large pond is widely used for water recreation and swimming, so in summer the big pond is less interesting. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Lebădă de vară, Rață roșie, Prigorie, Chiră de baltă, Silvie de câmp, Buhai de baltă, Stârc pitic, Egretă mare, Stârc cenușiu, Gâscă egipteană and Mărăcinar negru.

The Königsdorfer Schotterteiche are located directly north of the village of Königsdorf. You can park near the ponds and explore the area on foot.
