Description

Highly scenic Gantheaume Point is a great site to see Brown Booby flying past the point. Migratory shorebirds are also to be seen as they fly past and a good range of bush birds is found in nearby bushland.

Osprey is often seen perched high on the lighthouse.

Access

Access to Gantheaume Point is via the Gantheaume Point Road, off Gubinge Road, Broome.

The spectacular views from the cliff section of Gantheaume Point are reached by a short stretch of unsealed road along Kavite Road past the beach access ramp. There you will find parking and the interpretive signage centre which showcases the history of the area.
