Description

Vermosh is the northernmost village of Albania. The village lies in a valley of the Albanian Alps, along a river with the same name. Many visitors come to Vermosh for its mountain views. The very wide, flat bed of the river Vermosh, which has created a smooth, stony depression, with wide views. The natural landscape is great area for birding and hiking. Among the birds you can encounter are Acvilă de munte, Șoim călător, Prigorie, Codroș de munte, Pupăză, Pescărel negru, Sfrâncioc roșiatic, Muscar sur, Codobatură de munte, Codobatură albă, Brumăriță de stâncă, Privighetoare roșcată, Pietrar mediteranean and Sturz de vâsc.
