Tegg's Nose is a Country Park managed by Cheshire East Council. When walking to reach the summit, you will experience different wildlife habitats including heathland, grassland, scree and woodland.
Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Cartaxo-comum, Felosa-musical, Petinha-dos-prados, Papa-amoras-comum, Pintarroxo-comum, Laverca are present in the heathland. Andorinhão-preto , Andorinha-das-chaminés , Andorinho-dos-beirais , Águia-d'asa-redonda and peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro can be seen in the sky. The woodland houses Trepadeira-azul, chapim-real, Chapim-azul, Estrelinha-de-poupa and other woodland species.
Tegg's Nose is also important area for butterflies and moth - Emperor Moth breed here.

Tegg’s Nose is located just east of Macclesfield. Park in one of the car parks (click P on the map for directions) on either side of the park. Gritstone Trail passes through the park. The area is best explored by foot. Cycling is not allowed in the park.
