Descrição
Chief point of interest of this is the smaller part of the Rutland Water Nature Reserve is the Águia-pesqueira nest. It's difficult to see beyond the Águia-pesqueira nest, and there are few places in Britain where this species breed reliably. The Wildlife Trust know this and provide scopes, people and a video link to help visitors to appreciate these birds. This section of the reserve has several hides looking across the southern arm of Rutland Water in a more natural outlook than the main reserve.
Keep an eye open: there are other birds worth noting - Garça-branca-grande, for example.
