Milton Loch is a quiet little spot with a free car park and a bird hide overlooking the lake as well as excellent views of Trepadeira-do-bosque, Pica-pau-malhado-grande and Chapim-preto foraging on the surrounding trees. On the water expect to see waterfowl such as Pato-real, Marrequinha-comum, Zarro-negrinha, Pato-olho-d'ouro and Mergulhão-pequeno. Garça-real and Cisne-vulgar are likely. Frango-d'água can occasionally be seen or heard.

Milton Loch is located at Boat of Garten in Scotland. There is a small carpark next to the golf course at the end of Birch Grove. Press P on the map for directions to the car park.
