The Marloes Peninsula combines dramatic coastal scenery and birdwatching. You can look out for seabirds and seals and there are walks for all abilities starting from the National Trust car parks at Marloes Sands and Martins Haven. Marloes Mere is a wetland located within the Marloes Peninsula, close to Marloes Sands and a short walk from Runwayskiln. This wet, acidic area of land is home to some rare wildlife and plants, which is why it has been of scientific interest since 1985. Among the birds you can see here are Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis (most likely during spring and autumn migration), Mergulhão-pequeno, Marrequinha-comum, falcão-peregrino, Narceja-comum, Cartaxo-comum, Felosa-dos-juncos, Laverca and Papa-amoras-comum.
