The Burgäschisee is a small lake surrounded by forest and a fen. There are many different birds but also plants and mammals. You can make a circular walk (2,5 km) around the lake. Every year interesting winter guests and migrants can be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are Pato-trombeteiro, Merganso-pequeno, Merganso-grande, Garça-branca-grande, Mergulhão-de-crista, Guarda-rios-comum, Narceja-comum, Cegonha-branca and Milhafre-real.
