Acherbiela is a small nature reserve. The Poupa is being reintroduced in the area. Spring migration often offers surprises ( Petinha-dos-campos, Falcão-de-pés-vermelhos, Laverca and Cotovia-pequena). In winter sometimes Gralha-de-bico-vermelho and Melro-de-peito-branco. Águia-real and Quebra-ossos are also possible when the weather is bad. Beautiful circular route over dry steppe with nature-friendly agriculture. Among the birds you can see in the area are Poupa, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Mocho-d'orelhas, Gralha-de-bico-amarelo, Gralha-de-bico-vermelho, Águia-real, Pica-pau-verde, Felosa de Bonelli, Tordeia and Chapim-rabilongo.

Public transport: Bus from Brig train station to Brig Biela. Then walk about 30 minutes in the direction of Termen. Circular walking route from the bus between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the route.
