Tofta is a coastal nature reserve that is characterized by treeless heathlands and some pastures. On the southern side there is a enclosed wetland that attracts many ducks, waders and geese. There is no bird tower but you get close from three different directions. Among the birds you can see are Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Chapim-de-bigode, Frango-d'água, Franga-d'água-grande, Pilrito-falcinelo, Marreco, Narceja-comum and many others, see the birdlist below.
