Svartskatan is a shallow bay where many birds can be seen, especially in spring. From a bird tower you have splendid views over the area. Among the birds you can see are Marrequinha-comum, Pato-olho-d'ouro, Piadeira, Galeirão-comum, Ganso-comum, Cisne-bravo, Zarro-negrinha, Maçarico-real, Águia-rabalva and Coruja-do-nabal.
