Descrição
From Stora Rör Hamn you have a perfect view of the strait between Öland and the mainland. The strait is a natural migration route for south- and north-bound seabirds. In both autumn and spring, tens of thousands of Eider-edredão pass through, often at close range and in large flocks. Other common migratory birds are Pato-fusco, Pato-preto, Merganso-de-poupa, Mobêlha-pequena and Mobêlha-árctica. From August to October, some Moleiro-de-cauda-comprida, Moleiro-pomarino, and Moleiro-parasítico also pass south. The best migration is in spring with southwesterly winds, and in autumn with northerly winds.
