The northernmost part of lake Funäsdalssjön has shrubs and reeds along the beach that attract birds. Out on open water, various ducks rest. The area has a bird observation tower. Among the birds you can see in the Risnäset - Funäsdalen area are Pato-fusco, Pato-olho-d'ouro, Cisne-bravo, Maçarico-das-rochas, Perna-vermelha-comum, Pisco-de-peito-azul, Chasco-cinzento and Dom-fafe.
