In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Tartaranhão-caçador, Tartaranhão-azulado, Milhafre-real and Águia-rabalva. Even very rare species like Tartaranhão-de-peito-branco and Milhafre-preto have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Tarambola-dourada and rarities like Petinha de Richard and Borrelho-ruivo have been seen. Escrevedeira-das-neves and Pintarroxo-de-bico-amarelo spend there winters here.

Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
