Linudden has a rich birdlife with many species. In the zone between the forest and the reed bay there is a coastal meadow area. The area was set aside in 1947 as a nature reserve for its rich flora. Among the birds you can encounter are Felosa-das-figueiras, Trepadeira-azul, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Felosa-assobiadeira, Papa-figos, Coruja-do-mato and Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto.
