Lillängsgölen is easily accessible by a bird observation tower. The lake is best from May to June when the breeding birds arrive. In the reed Felosa-dos-juncos, Frango-d'água and Escrevedeira-dos-caniços breed. On the coastal wetlands Grou-comum, Galinhola Narceja-comum and Abibe-comum breed. Mobêlha-pequena, Mergulhão-de-pescoço-castanho, Pato-real, Marrequinha-comum, Cisne-bravo and Pato-olho-d'ouro breed on the lake. Some years Pássaro-bique-bique, Zarro-comum, Ganso do Canadá, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, andÓgea breed.
In the forest around many pine favouring birds breed, some more common are Galo-lira, Chapim-de-poupa, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo, Tetraz, Ferreirinha-comum, Torcicolo, Pica-pau-malhado-pequeno, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Pica-pau-preto, Felosa-comum, Águia-pesqueira, Gavião da Europa, and Águia-d'asa-redonda.

Lillängsgölen is located 18 km northeast of Eksjö. There is a small parking lot next to the road. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The trail to the birding tower (500 m) is not clearly marked.
