If you start on the west side and go north, you can within two kilometers cross the river and walk back along the east side. Among the birds you can encounter are Pato-real, Pato-olho-d'ouro, Merganso-grande, Garça-real, Guarda-rios-comum, Melro-d'água and Pintassilgo.
