Långroudden is one of the most distinctive parts of the Kronören – Drivörens nature reserve. The place is popular with birdwatchers during the spring and autumn migration because the protruded location provides a good view of the passing birds. Wind, waves, and ice have created both cobblestone fields and bare-washed rocks. When the ice is off the coast of Umeå, Långroudden is usually a good alternative because the ice rarely settles here. Among the birds you can see in the area are Mobêlha-árctica, Pato-fusco, Pato-preto, Pato-de-cauda-afilada, Eider-edredão, Merganso-grande, Merganso-de-poupa, Ostraceiro and Águia-rabalva.

Acesso
The nature reserve can be reached from road E4, about 6 kilometers south of Nordmaling. Turn south towards Långron. Parking is available at Östergrundet. Parking spaces are also available at Drivören and Nabben.
