Most interesting birds in the Hågadalen-Nåsten nature reserve can be found here. On an early spring evening you can hear Mocho-pigmeu while Galinhola flies overhead. In spring and summer many birds can be heard. This old clear cut forest is starting to grow over again and lures a lot of birds. The only down side is that it is a 2-3 km walk from the nearest parking lot. Many woodpeckers reside here as well, like Pica-pau-preto, Pica-pau-verde, Pica-pau-malhado-pequeno and some winters one can be lucky enough to encounter a Pica-pau-cinzento.

The nearest parking lots can be found at Kung Björns Hög and Hågaby. From there it is a 2-3 km walk along a broad forest road. At Högbyhatt there are in principal two roads one can take. The one going along the small pond can be wet at certain times of the year.
