Descrição
Punta de Sa Pedrera is an easily accessed area of rocky coastline with excellent views of the area. Melro-azul can be seen in the scrub around the top of the cliffs below which falcão-peregrino breeds. Cotovia-montesina can also bee seen in the area.
During migration large numbers of hirundines and swifts can pass overhead and the occasional wader can drop onto the shoreline. It's also worth checking the area for passerine migrants such as Cartaxo-nortenho and Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca. Offshore Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas and Gaivota de Audouin are easily seen and when there is sufficient wind both Cagarra-do-mediterrânico and Pardela do Mediterrâneo can be seen in San Antonio bay. Corvo-marinho-de-crista is also present in good numbers.
