You can do everything in this area. In the city you can spot birds like Pardal-espanhol, Canário and many more. If you go up north you come to fields and empty landscapes. Seawatching is also very worthwhile. If the conditions are good, you can spot up to 300 Bobo-grande and with luck Pardela-sombria and maybe even a Pintainho. On a good morning I saw 250 Bobo-grande and 3 Pardela-sombria. If you have the chance to go by boat, I would take it, because you can take good pictures and also have a chance to see dolphines. With much luck there is a chance of any storm petrel. Also Falco-tagarote could be possilbe.

Puerto de Santiago is located on the northwestern coast of Tenerife. You can get there easy by bus, but also by car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The walking route is not too easy because it is quite hilly.
