Carabias is a small village surrounded by fields. The trees around the village contain Papa-figos who feast on the numerous fruit trees in the village and nest in the trees. Many other birds can be spotted around the village, like flocks of Grifo-comum, but also Rola-comum, Perdiz-comum, Águia-calçada, Andorinhão-preto, Poupa and Abelharuco-comum.
