Labudovo Okno is the place where the agricultural plain of Deliblato meets the Danube river near the Romanian - Serbian border. Because of the building of Djerdap Dam, Danube has flooded surrounding Stevan’s Plains (Serbian: Stevanove ravnice) and made perfect habitat for gathering of birds. Here you can see all kinds of waterfowl species, mainly at winter time. Zarro-comum, Zarro-negrinha, Pato-olho-d'ouro, Zarro-bastardo and Mergulhão-de-pescoço-castanho are regular species that gather at winter time. There are also quite many geese that gather here, mainly Ganso-comum and Ganso-grande-de-testa-branca.
During spring migration there are few species of gulls and terns, some other birds like Poupa, Águia-rabalva, Galeirão-comum, Pato-real and Arrabio. During fall migration there are many small birds migrating through here, species like Grey-headed Wagtail (thunbergi), Felosa-icterina, Felosa-dos-juncos, rouxinol-dos-caniços and Papa-moscas-cinzento. Also there are migrating raptors like Águia-pesqueira and Bútio-vespeiro.

Labudovo okno is only accessible by car. Getting there on foot is hard and you need to know environment. Always stick to established tracks and respect wildlife!
