Mogoșoaia Palace (Palatul Mogoșoaia) is surrounded by beautiful gardens and located at a big lake. Behind the palace, after the wooden bridge, you can see many birds that prefer marshy areas, but also forest birds. Best time for a visit is spring with many birds nesting. Among the birds you can encounter are Pato-ferrugíneo, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Garça-branca-pequena, Garça-branca-grande, Socó-taquari, Papa-ratos, Gaivina-de-faces-brancas, Galeirão-comum and Corvo-marinho-pigmeu.
