The slopes are covered with Pyrenean Oak woods. Along the way, countless species of birds can be seen. Dragonflies and Mediterranean terrapins take refuge in the aquatic corridor and various species of butterflies hover over the flowering meadows. Among the birds you can encounter are Grifo-comum, Black Vulture, Águia-cobreira, Águia-calçada, Milhafre-real, Bútio-vespeiro, Andorinha-dáurica, Androinha-das-rochas, Abelharuco-comum, Papa-figos, Toutinegra-de-cabeça-preta, Toutinegra-carrasqueira, Picanço-barreteiro, Pega-azul, Estorninho-preto, Melro-d'água and Trepadeira-azul.
