The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Ganso do Egipto, peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro, Merganso-grande, Rouxinol-grande-dos-caniços, Mergulhão-de-pescoço-preto and Dom-fafe.
