Descrição
The Witoszówka reservoir in Świdnica is a recreational place for Świdnica residents and a reserve for anglers. Although the shore is regulated without trees and reeds it is home to hundreds of birds. In winter this is a great place to observe gulls from a short distance (the reservoir is max. 300 m long, the piers are located in its south-western part). During winter migration, there are Gaivota-parda, Guincho-comum, Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas and Gaivota-argêntea. Often Alcatraz-comum, gaivota-da-asa-escura and Gaivota-de-cabeça-preta. Occasionally Gaivota-tridáctila. Other birds you can see are Zarro-comum, Marreco, Cisne-vulgar, Pato-ferrugíneo and Merganso-grande.
