Szczodrzykowo Reservoir is located 18 km south-east of the regional capital Poznań near the village of Szczodrzykowo. Surrounded by agriculture the reservoir is an oasis for birds. Among the birds you can see here are Abetouro-comum, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Grou-comum, Trigueirão, Combatente, Marreco, Cotovia-de-poupa, Andorinha-do-mar-comum and different species of ducks, geese and grebes.
