Hel Headland is a perfect place to observe seabirds during migrations. You can then observe the following birds, rare in this part of the Baltic Sea: Torda-mergulheira, Arau-comum, Arau-d'asa-branca, Gaivota-tridáctila, Moleiro-parasítico, as well as Garajau-comum, Andorinha-do-mar-árctica and, if you are lucky, sometimes you get Ganso-patola.

You can reach the Hel Peninsula and the town of Hel by car, bicycle or train. You can park your car in the city or in a parking lot near the forest. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the town of Hel you can then walk or bike along the path through the forest. The train arrives at a station from which you can easily get to the city. Note: the Hel Peninsula is an extremely popular holiday destination in the summer season and then extremely crowded.
