Park Kościuszki is a nesting place for many species of forest and park birds. An ideal place for a walk with binoculars and a camera, away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Katowice. In spring, an interesting place to observe birds' parental activities in numerous nesting boxes. In the autumn and winter, the place is visited by birds as a feeding place, thanks to the large number of replenished and full feeders. You can observe, among others, the Pica-pau-mediano, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Pica-pau-verde as well as many species of passerines.
