The Odra is Poland's second-longest river. The floodplains of the Odra next to the Janówek sewage treatment plant are a good area for birding. Among the birds you can encounter are Pato-olho-d'ouro, Merganso-grande, Merganso-pequeno, Escrevedeira-dos-caniços, Escrevedeira-amarela, Trigueirão, Alvéola-cinzenta, Águia-rabalva, Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto, Rouxinol-comum, Petinha-ribeirinha, Felosa-icterina, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo and Papa-figos.
