The Rakowicki Cemetery covers an area of about 35 hectares and is the oldest municipal cemetery in Krakow - since the beginning of the 19th century. The area of the historic cemetery is covered with old trees (both conifers and deciduous trees). You can move freely around the area, which is why the path has not been drawn on the map. The cemetery is a good place to observe (in particular) woodpeckers: Pica-pau-malhado-grande Pica-pau-mediano Pica-pau-verde . In addition to those mentioned, a significant number of forest and park bird species can be found in the area.

Polski: Cmentarz Rakowicki obejmuje obszar około 35 hektarów i jest najstarszym cmentarzem komunalnym na terenie Krakowa -od początku XIX wieku. Teren historycznego cmentarza porośnięty jest starodrzewiema (zarówno drzewa iglaste jak i liściaste). Po terenie można poruszać się swobodnie, dlatego ścieżka nie została narysowana na mapie. Teren cmentarza jest to dobrym miejscem do obserwacji (w szczególności) dzięciołów : Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Pica-pau-mediano i Pica-pau-verde. Obok wymienionych na terenie można spotkać znaczną liczbę gatunków ptaków leśnych i parkowych.

The Rakowicki Cemetery is located north of the city center of Krakow and is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Access is by foot only. Parking is available on the adjacent street. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
