Vadsøya is an island in the city of Vadsø. The east side of the island is a nature park with a pond. The pond is a good place to see Falaropo-de-bico-fino. Other birds you can see along the shores and on sea are Eider-edredão, Eider de Steller, Eider-real, Pato-de-cauda-afilada, Merganso-de-poupa, Merganso-grande, Pilrito-escuro, Fuselo, Gaivota-hiperbórea, Gaivota-polar, Petinha-de-garganta-ruiva, and Pilrito-comum.
