Descrição
Lonåsen is a small village in Tunndalen, at the confluence of the rivers Tunna and Lona, about 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. The village is surrounded by forest and tundra. I stayed here for a month in the winter months of December and January. I regularly saw woodpecker species such as Pica-pau-malhado-grande but also Pica-pau-tridáctilo and Pica-pau-cinzento. In addition, Grouse such as Lagópode-branco, Galo-lira and Tetraz. Finch species such as the Bico-grossudo and Dom-fafe. Furthermore, many Trepadeira-azul, chapim-montês, Verdilhão-comum, Pintarroxo-de-queixo-preto, Chapim-preto, Estrelinha-de-poupa, Corvo and Pardal-montez.

Lonåsen is located 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. In the general area around Tynset and Lonåsen you have a chance of these sightings, especially in winter.
