The Yperenplas (also called Wilpse Plas) is an easy accessible birding place near the city of Deventer. It offers a wide view on the typical IJssel valley, with a good chance of special species on the lake and in the surroundings. Among the birds you can see here are Ganso-comum, Águia-pesqueira, Chasco-cinzento, Gaivota-parda, Pato-trombeteiro, Frisada, Piadeira, Colhereiro, Guincho-comum, Ganso-de-faces-brancas and peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro. Rarities that have been seen here are Zarro-castanho, Mobêlha-pequena and Pernilongo.
